VYPE: What are your personal goals for the year?
To make it to the state volleyball tournament again for my senior year, be on the all state team, and get hardware at state.
VYPE: What is the most fun you have had in the last year?
Watching me and my friends transition into upperclassman and seniors, and all the memories made along the way.
VYPE: Who is your favorite teacher from any grade, and why?
My favorite teacher was Shelly Carlson, my career and life planning and home ec teacher. She never failed to brighten your day, always had on a smile, and was the most encouraging woman I have ever met.
VYPE: What is your favorite athletic memory?
Winning substate volleyball my sophomore year and proceeding to get 3rd at state.
VYPE: What teammate has left the biggest impression on you and why?
Abby Rose left her mark on me as I played with her when I was a sophomore and she was a senior. She was an amazing role model for me to look up to not only as a player but a teammate as she seemed to always know what to do and how to deliver. And she was an awesome scorer.
VYPE: What is your favorite part of being on this team?
The relationships I’ve built with the girls I get to call teammates is the best feeling in a sport. Some of these girls I’ve played with since Rec league volleyball when we were 3rd graders.
VYPE: You can pick any place for a summer vacation. Where do you go, and who do you take with you?
I would probably go to a tropical island of some kind because I love the beach and beautiful scenery, or I would choose Greece because it’s such a stunning place and it’s always been on my bucket list to visit.
VYPE: If we gave you $500 and you had to spend it in the next 24 hours, what would you spend it on?
I would probably donate partially to my church and go on a shopping spree with my mom.
VYPE: Do you participate in any community service projects?
I am in National Honors Society and we do many service projects around our town and school like helping people move and cleaning up after the haunted trail.
