Canton-Galva’s Isaiah Patton spent this season having “many laughs” with his teammates. Focusing on making it to state championships Patton’s “favorite thing about being on this team is the support from my teammates to get better.”
Support that has proven successful in the past based on the memory Patton shared with VYPE. Saying “My favorite athletic memory is running the 4×1 relay at league and then hearing that we broke the league record.”
In addition to overall support from the team, Patton expressed to us that “my brother taught me to work towards my goals” and therefore has had the biggest impression on him.
Outside of athletics Patton shared that “I am the president of YAC ( Youth Advisory Council) and we did service day this year where we divide our high schools’ student body into groups and do different things around the community.”
As a senior Patton has continued to contribute to his school and community in a way that will make his future even richer.
