VYPE: What are your personal goals for the year?
My biggest goal for this year is to grow closer to those around me because it’s our last year together.
VYPE: What is the most fun you have had in the last year?
The most fun I’ve had this year would probably be when I and my fellow football seniors would go to one of our friend’s sheds and watch Thursday Night Football as a team bonding activity.
VYPE: Who is your favorite teacher from any grade, and why?
My favorite teacher would have to be Mr. McClure because he was my defensive line coach, and I have a lot of good memories with him.
VYPE: What is your favorite athletic memory?
My favorite athletic memory would be when I got to play my first snap of varsity football during my freshman year. I ended up getting a sack with my main man Haven Lysell.
VYPE: What teammate has left the biggest impression on you and why?
I’ve had several teammates leave a lasting impression on me, but there are three that stand above the rest. They are Tanner Lutting, Grant Lysell-Alkire, and Haven Lysell. Those three men made me who I am today by pushing me to be the best I could be. I know I have made lifelong friends with them, and I wouldn’t be the person I am today without them.
VYPE: What is your favorite part of being on this team?
My favorite part about being on the Smoky Valley football team is how close we all are to each other. We all get along really well and know we can call each other out the perfect amount to make us the best we can possibly be.
VYPE: You can pick any place for a summer vacation. Where do you go, and who do you take with you?
If I could go anywhere, I would choose to go on the Star Wars Galactic cruise with two of my best friends, Michael Hawk and Kade Blanchat. We all love Star Wars, so I know we’d have a great time.
VYPE: If we gave you $500 and you had to spend it in the next 24 hours, what would you spend it on?
I would split the $500 and give half to my mother and the other half to my father because I’ve cost them way more than that over the past 18 years.
VYPE: Do you participate in any community service projects?
Every year we take a day or two out of school and go around our community and help by doing several things. This past valentines day, all of the winter sports athletes went to different nursing homes in our community and handed out roses to the residents.
VYPE: What Clubs or Campus groups are you involved with and why?
I’m involved in the pep club because I like to feel involved with all of the athletics around here.
