McPherson’s Reanna Eilrich – Softball Spotlight – Presented by Don Pennington Jr. – Gateway Mortgage

Finishing out her senior year at McPherson High School, Reanna Eilrich has been leaving her mark on the softball field as the team’s first base player. Eilrich shared with Vype Magazine before regional playoffs, she was looking forward to regionals being hosted at home this year.

To prepare for her final season of high school softball, Eilrich had prepared with a workout plan. She also attended camps in the offseason to get ready for the final spring season.

In the season prior, Eilrich’s fielding percentage was .969. She shared with Vype Magazine a goal of hers was to increase that percentage and make this year an even better year. Other honors Elirich has received include being top 48 softball players in the state of Kansas, 3rd in AVCTL-III, and 44th in KSHSAA. She was also named 2nd team all-league and Sports in Kansas Honorable Mention.

Eilrich plans to attend Hutchinson Community College in the fall to attain her Associates degree in Business Administration. After Hutchinson Community College, Eilrich will transfer to Kansas State University to get her Bachelor’s degree in finance.

Eilrich stays plenty busy while not on the softball field. At the high school, Eilrich has been involved in KAY Club, FCA, STUCO, International Club, and MHS Ambassador. Other activities Eilrich is involved in is Countryside Covenant Church Youth and Children’s Ministries and worship leader. During the fall season, Eilrich either played volleyball or managed volleyball and in the winter season, Eilrich was a starter for The Bullpups basketball team. During her year’s at MHS, Eilrich has been senior class treasurer, prom committee, woman’s choir, NHS, and Educators Rising.
