
VYPE: What are your personal goals for the year?
A: My personal goals for this season are to win a state championship, get player of the
year for 1A and also work towards becoming one of the best players in the state of
Kansas.
VYPE: What is the most fun you have had in the last year?
A: The most fun I’ve had in the past year is probably winning the substate championship
and qualifying for state. I also had the chance to go to the Final Four in Houston, TX,
with my brother, Nathan, and my dad.
VYPE: Who is your favorite teacher from any grade, and why?
A: My favorite teacher is probably Mrs. Lynch because she makes learning very
enjoyable.
VYPE: What is your favorite athletic memory?
A: My favorite athletic memory is probably winning substate and qualifying for state,
while getting to celebrate with my team and coaches as a sophomore.
VYPE: What teammate has left the biggest impression on you and why?
A: The teammate that has left the biggest impression on me is Caleb Laney, because in
my freshman season I had a three games back-to-back-to-back where I hadn’t really
effected the game in a way that helped my team and he just came by me and told me to
keep my head up and keep looking forward.
VYPE: What is your favorite part of being on this team?
A: My favorite part of being on the team is being a part of the close circle we have as
teammates as well as Coach Goodrich and Coach Rust.
VYPE: You can pick any place for a summer vacation. Where do you go, and who do
you take with you?
A: I would go on a cruise in the Caribbean and I would take my brother, Nate with me.
VYPE: If we gave you $500 and you had to spend it in the next 24 hours, what would
you spend it on?
A: I would probably buy a pair of Kobe’s to play in for the school season.
VYPE: Do you participate in any community service projects?
A: Yes, I help serve the city Thanksgiving dinner at the community building.
