
VYPE: What are your personal goals for the year?
My personal goal for this year is to be a state champ at 126 lbs.
VYPE: What is the most fun you have had in the last year?
The most fun I have had this year was playing against Ark city in football in the freezing cold rain. It felt like a scene out of a war movie.
VYPE: Who is your favorite teacher from any grade, and why?
My favorite teacher has always been Mr. Harlin because he used to be a wrestler and always has my back no matter what I’m doing on and off the mat.
VYPE: What is your favorite athletic memory?
My favorite memory was when I beat the number 1 ranked wrestler in the state at 126lbs, 7-3 in the second round at state last year.
VYPE: What teammate has left the biggest impression on you and why?
Definitely, my brother, who isn’t able to wrestle anymore. He showed me, even before his injuries, how to push yourself to the limits and be the best at everything you do.
VYPE: What is your favorite part of being on this team?
I love the brotherhood I have with my teammates and helping everyone be the best they can be on and off the mat.
VYPE: You can pick any place for a summer vacation. Where do you go, and who do you take with you?
I would take a summer vacation to Texas and take my best friend and brother Tucker Pelnar.
VYPE: If we gave you $500 and you had to spend it in the next 24 hours, what would you spend it on?
I would probably spend it on hunting gear.
VYPE: Do you participate in any community service projects?
Yes, I participate in a lot of community service activities because NHS requires me to be the best I can be in that aspect.
VYPE: What Clubs or Campus groups are you involved with and why?
I am involved in FFA because I love agriculture and farming. I am also in the National Honors Society because I take my grades seriously.
VYPE: Are you involved in academic excellence activities such as the National Honor Society, Student Council, or other academic clubs?
