Smoky Valley’s Track and Choir participant Zach Gross spoke to VYPE about his goal for the year. Telling us “This year I want to graduate, attend Salina Tech for my CDL, and go to state track.”
Although this article is about his life on the track Gross also made sure to note that “In choir, I am an outstanding tenor” when asked about other activities he is apart of.
Something else Gross shared the teammate who has had the biggest impression on him – his brother JT Gross. Recalling that “He showed me that hard work outshines talent.”
A mantra that lives within Gross everyday, but particularly as he strives for this years state championship.
